China UV Paper Co., Ltd. is located at No. 328 Zhongdayang Village, Zhaipo Town, Xinxiang County, Xinxiang City, Henan Province. Its predecessor, Xinxiang Yubei Paper Mill, was founded in the 1970s. In 2017, following a full green transformation started in 2014, the company was renamed China UV Paper Co., Ltd., focusing on recycled fibre and high-strength corrugated base paper — a foundation that today underpins a strategic move up the value chain.

The first phase covers 168 mu of land with a registered capital of 680 million yuan and a total investment of 1.26 billion yuan, including one AAA-grade high-strength corrugated base paper line with an annual output of 450,000–520,000 tons. Construction began in July 2017 and the line entered operation in 2019, and the project has been recognized as a key green manufacturing project of Xinxiang County.

Driven by the premiumisation of the printing and packaging industry, the company is executing a strategic upgrade of its product mix on top of its recycled-fibre system, concentrating on three premium grades — semi-glossy art paper, cast coated paper and woodfree paper — across the mainstream 80–350 g/m² basis-weight range. Key indices such as brightness, smoothness and printing gloss are benchmarked against GB/T 10335.1, QB/T 3518 and GB/T 12654, placing quality firmly in China's first tier. The second phase is planned to cover 218 mu, adding one 600,000-ton coated paper line and one 120,000-ton premium woodfree paper line, supported by gas-fired boilers and power stations, finished-product warehouses, sewage treatment stations, recovered-fibre yards and office buildings — bringing the total target capacity to 1.56 million tons per year.

Once both phases are complete, total investment will reach RMB 2.86 billion, with 226,000 m² of building area and total capacity of 1.56 million tons per year, generating RMB 5.8 billion in annual output value and RMB 620 million in annual taxes and profits, while directly supporting more than 1,860 jobs. The company holds 47 patents and proprietary technologies and maintains stable partnerships with over 860 packaging, printing, publishing and brand companies across Central China. Its products serve a 300 km radius covering the Central Plains urban agglomeration around Xinxiang, making China UV Paper one of the largest premium paper production bases in northern Henan.
