On 30 June, the Xinxiang County People's Government and Xinxiang County Emergency Management Authority hosted the Xinxiang County Limited Space Emergency Exercise at China UV Paper Co., Ltd. On the day of the event, 31 staff members of the security and safety services of the limited space operations and their neighbourhood (town) were trained in and observed a limited space security emergency exercise. At the training session, staff such as the Chief of the Safety and Productive Bases Section of the Xinxiang County Emergency Management Authority provided guidance on how to effectively implement limited space safety operations, etc., and the Deputy Manager of the UV Paper Smart Environments Department shared information on the “Safety of Industrial Enterprises Online Declarations”. The on-site exercise simulated the failure of safety controls, such as cesspool bottom silting operations (limited space), resulting in a poisoning coma, and the rapid start-up of emergency disposal plans and timely rescue by the company, leading to the evacuation of accident personnel from the dangerous and successful rescue process. Through this exercise, business practitioners involved in limited space operations gained further knowledge of limited space safety protocols and operational accident emergency disposal methods; As the unit of this simulation exercise, UV Paper Smart will continue to upgrade staff security awareness, security business skills and corporate overall security management in limited space operations in the next phase, in strict compliance with the requirements, furthering limited space operations security training and exercises.
